METALLICA's Japanese Record Label Confirms Tour Cancellation

Sony Music Japan has confirmed on its official web site that METALLICA's Japanese tour, which was scheduled to take place in early November, has been cancelled due to "bandmembers' exhaustion." As previously reported, the South American trek, which was to immediately precede the Japanese dates, has also been called off.

According to the band's Argentine promoter, CIE Presenta, an official announcement will be made today (October 20) as to whether the South American dates will be rescheduled of if they will be postponed indefinitely.
